Specialty Paints and Coatings
Some surfaces need more than regular paint. We apply specialty coatings like elastomeric stucco paint, rust-blocking metal coatings, masonry sealers and high-wear finishes.
About our specialty paints and coatings service
Elastomeric coatings stretch and bridge small stucco cracks. That helps keep monsoon water out of your walls. They go on thicker than normal paint and are a smart choice for older stucco that keeps cracking.
Metal railings, gates and doors rust when the paint fails. We remove loose rust, prime with a rust-blocking primer and finish with a coating made for metal. Block walls and masonry get breathable sealers and paints that will not trap moisture.
Not sure what your surface needs? Tell us what is going on and we will recommend a coating. Our goal is to pick the product that lasts the longest for your money, not the one that costs the most.

What our customers say
"Duran's Quality Coatings is an amazing family owned business!!! When I called to get a estimate I talked to Lily and she was so helpful and friendly. When the guys came out also very friendly, helpful, and polite!!! Very Fair in pricing!!! I had the whole outside of my house repainted, and they were done in about 2 1/2 days and that's with washing the house, Mending cracks pieces of the wall missing from weather damage, Taping up and painting... I could not be any happier than what I am right now with the Quality of work that they do!!!!!! Thank you Duran's Quality Coatings you guys made our home beautiful again!!!!"
"Julian and crew did a fantastic job painting our house. It was a can of worms once they got started. We had a LOT of peeling paint and cracked stucco. I'm pretty sure they weren't planning on it taking all week to get it done but they went the extra mile(s) to get it done right. They made our house look new again. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know that needs their house painted. Thanks guys."
"We are very impressed with Julien Duran and the four guys that painted our entire interior in 3.5 days - 2 coats, 3 colors. I even liked their music ! Within 4 days of calling, Julien came out to give me an estimate. One week later I received the estimate ( with agreed upon Statement of Work ) on company letter head via email. Then a commitment email to start work 3 days later. No waiting around for summer or a response. Mike, Dean, Bronson, and Patrick worked like a well organized team. They seemed to have fun while working almost non-stop. All 5 walked around looking for places that might need touching up. I found none. I highly recommend Duran's Quality Coatings."
